Sponsored review: GEO MAGIC CM-905

Saan yleensä päättää, mitä tuotteita arvostelen, mutta tällä kertaa kysyin GEOlta, olisiko heillä jotakin tuotetta, joka ei ole saanut niin paljon huomiota kuin olisi voinut. Minulle suositeltiin 3tone magic -sarjaa. Syy siihen, miksi sarja ei varmaan ole tullut niin huomatuksi on se, että linssit näyttävät hieman luonnollisemmilta eivätkä anna niin suurta suurennusefektiä. ...Mutta jollekulle, joka haluaa allaolevan kuvan kaltaisen maagisen tuijotuksen, tämä saattaa olla täydellinen valinta! Katsotaanpa, kuika koin nämä linssit.

I usually choose which products to review but this time I asked GEO if there is some products that haven't reached attention as much as they could. They recommended me the 3tone magic series. The reason why they probably haven't gotten noticed so much is that they look quite natural and don't give that much largening effect. ...But for someone wanting to have magical but natural glance like below, these just might be the perfect choise! Let's see how I experienced these ones.

CM-905

Valitsin mallin CM-905, joka on vaalea pinkinlila. Lisäksi linssissä on havaittavissa hieman keltaista. Sitä saa voimakkuuksilla 0.00 ~ -10.00, halkaisija on 14,2, peruskaarevuus 8.6 ja vesipitoisuus 38-42% tienoilla. Käyttöaikaa lupaillaan yksi vuosi. Pakkaus oli aiempaan tapaan erittäin hyvä. I chose CM-905 that is a light pinkish purple with some yellow. It comes with the Power Range of 0.00 ~ -10.00, diameter of 14.2mm, base Curve Radius: 8.6, water Content of 38~42% and it's disposability is one year. Väri on vaalea pinkinlila. Siinä on myös jonkin verran keltaista raidoitusta ja reunoitus on pehmeästi tummempi kuin linssin muut väriosat. Väri saattaa olla myös miinuspuoli sellaiselle, joka etsii todellista värimuutosta silmiinsä, sillä nämä linssit eivät peitä paljoakaan. Minulla värimuutosta ei voi nähdä pahemmin, ellei katso suorassa auringonvalossa läheltä. Jollekulle, joka odottaisi liloja silmiä, nämä linssit saattaisivat olla pettymys.

The color is light pinkish purple. There are also some yellowish soft stripes and the edge is softly darker than the other parts of the lense. That might still be the minor side that for a person looking for a real color change, these lenses won't cover much. For me, the change of color couldn't be seen unless looking at sunlight and very close. So for someone who is looking for purple eyes this might be a bit of a disappointing.

Toisaalta, erittäin hyvä puoli on se, että keskiympyrä häivyttyy täydellisesti. Keskellä ei ole minkäänlaista tummaa reunaa, vaan paikoitellen etenkin itselläni on vaikea sanoa, missä linssin keltainen osio alkaa ja missä vaiheessa päättyy, sillä oman silmäni keskellä on keltaista myös. Huomaa, että kuvat yllä ja vasemmalla ovat lähikuvia, joissa yksityiskohdat korostuvat. Todellisuudessa häivyttyminen on entistäkin sujuvampi. Toinen asia, josta pidin, oli linssien tumma reunus.

Then again, the very good side is that the middle circle blends perfectly! There are no sharp edges at all and you can hardly tell where the color part truly ends. Note that the images on left and top are closeups and the view is much smoother in real life. I also like the overall effect that the lenses give, making the darker circle of the iris appear very well.

Comfort

Nämä linssit ovat erittäin mukavat - niiden olemista silmissä ei juuri huomaa. Toisella kerralla kokeillessani näitä linssejä olin matkustamassa ja aikataulullisisat syistä en päässyt ottamaan linssejä ajoissa pois. Yleensä minulla ilmenee ärsytystä ylipidosta, mutta näistä sitä ei tullut, vaikka pysyivät silmissä yli 11 tuntia.

Lenses are very comfortable - can't really notice their existence. The second time I tried them on I was traveling a bit and due to some scheduling problems I couldn't go anywhere to take the lenses off. So I wore them about 11 hours but no irritation occured. Usually if I use the lenses too long they irritate a bit but luckily these didn't.

Mistä pidin erityisesti:

+  Tumma rengas

+ Pieni suurennusefekti, vaikka linssit eivät olekaan varsinaiset suurentajat

+ Ei minkäänlaisia reunoja keskiympyrässä!

+ Hyvä tilanteisiin, joissa tarvitsee hieman luonnollisempaa lookkia

+ Äärimmäisen mukavat

Mistä en pitänyt:

- Peittävyys on melko kehno

- Ja koska peittävyys on kehno, väri ei näy.

What I liked especially:

+ Nice dark ring

+ A slight largening even they aren't truly largener lenses
+ Absolutely no edges in the middle!

+ Good for situations that need a bit more natural look

+ Extremely comfortable

What I didn't like so much:

- The coverage isn't that good

- Since it doesn't cover much the color won't show

Kaikenkaikkiaan, pidän näistä linsseistä ja ne antavat hienon lookin, jos tahtoo tehdä vaikutuksen näyttämättä nukelta. Nämä linssit näyttävät luonnollisilta ja eläviltä. Kun tarvitsen todellista värinvaihdosta, turvaudun muihin linsseihin, joten värin peittävyys voisi olla sellainen asia, jota näissä linsseissä kannattaa kehittää.

Alltogether, I do like these lenses alot and they will give a great look when you want to impress without looking like a doll. They still keep your look natural and living. When needing a tru color change I'd prefer some other lenses, so the color coverage might be something there is to develope.
